SHUT THE {barn} DOOR!

Somebody, QUICK! Please provide me with a rational reason why anyone would NOT jump at incorporating a barn door into their home?! I'm pretty sure it's a given, my home is in dire need of one. (I started looking for one online yesterday!)

Umm...hello?!... this must have been made with my bedroom in mind...
